WiFi room at the FTVS
For the faculty of physical education and sports at the Charles University in Prague we designed and realized a room that is used for students´ relaxation, leisure time activities, specialized projections and also for occasional meetings. Thanks to the disposal organising, students with reduced mobility can comfortably move there.
Because this is the faculty of physical education and sports, it was natural to transfer the topic of sport to the design of the interior. The idea was an athletic oval that determined the character of furniture and seating, which is fabricated on two levels: standard by the table on footstools and casual on the platform in three height levels. Technical equipment contains a hard-set computer connected with ceiling projector and two wall loudspeakers. There is also wireless WiFi connection, hinged plugs in tables and a notice board in the form of thin cables on the wall.
